I am so excited to announce this year’s summer mini sessions!
These sessions will be available on TWO days – Saturday, June 24th + Sunday, June 25th.
Email me at RachelHalsey@gmail.com for more information or to book a spot while they’re still available!
While I mainly focus on featuring engagements and weddings on the blog, there are certain families that hold such a special place in my heart
that I can’t bear the thought of not sharing their photos… and also because I just love them so much (the people and the photos)! 😉
The Carrel family is one such family that is so very dear to me.
They are wonderful friends and their adorable twins, Caleb and Lyla, are pretty much the cutest kids on the planet.
And — spoiler alert, there’s actually a new kid in town – the Carrels welcomed another baby boy in to their family just last month!
I can’t wait to share Baby Hudson’s newborn shoot <3
Enjoy this lovely family and their gorgeous Odiorne session.
Can you even handle this cuteness?!
PORTRAIT SESSION SPECIAL!
Today through Small Business Saturday (November 28th) ONLY +++
I am offering a limited number of standard 2016 portrait sessions at a discounted rate (only $250!).
You can buy as many session credits as you’d like to use throughout the coming year.
These also make fantastic Christmas gifts! Email me at RachelHalsey@gmail.com to purchase!
I can’t believe so many months have passed since this gorgeous fall day!
I love shooting in the fall for so many reasons –
the air is crisp, the colors are gorgeous, and the golden light is like nothing else.
Deanna contacted me about doing her senior photos and I could not have been more honored!
Senior sessions are seriously some of my favorites.
They really give me the opportunity to channel my inner Tyra Banks (ha!) ;]
Deanna is a gorgeous girl and every shot came out beautifully thanks to her stunning eyes and smile (and may I just compliment that perfect bone structure?!)
Deanna, thank you so much for choosing me to be the one to capture such a special time in your life!
High school for you is a soon to be distant memory and you have the whole world in front of you –
Enjoy every minute and every experience!
Fall certainly feels like a long time ago, doesn’t it?! I mean, I guess it was!
This past fall I offered family mini sessions at Wagon Hill in Durham…
Which seemed like an especially good time with Christmas card season right around the corner!
I am always amazed at how lucky I am to get to do something I love so much for a living.
I wish everyone could understand the immense importance of regular documentation of your family or loved ones –
Exactly as you are… wild and happy kids, sneaking kisses amongst the chaos, little ones that still want to hold hands…
The list goes on.
Time goes by so fast and so often I look around me and wonder how it’s possible that
kiddos grow up, people move on, and so often we are left with only fuzzy memories days passed.
The investment of family photographs is so small in comparison to the years and years ahead of you
in which you will look back on these days that felt oh-so-long and you will wish for a little piece of that to return to you…
even if only for a moment.
Photographs become tangible memories that last forever… Well in to future generations.
There are still days that my siblings and I look through our bin of old family photos and are so thankful that our parents were so great about documenting our childhoods.
What a gift!
I have honestly never worked with a couple or family who has told me they wished they had waited on photos…
I have only ever heard “I truly wish we made this happen more often”.
If you are in need of updated photos, please contact me!
I offer lifestyle sessions in your home as well as being able to recommend beautiful local places where we can go and capture you just as you are.
I will offer mini sessions again next fall – so be on the lookout for those.
Thank you so much to these beautiful people that gave me the opportunity to capture them so perfectly.
Lots of love ~
